Four Eyes Are Better Than One

Lots going on at Palau today. More on that later.

Though I’m editing, I am enjoying a Chris Tomlin concert from a unique perspective:

I’m editing with four separate HD camera angles (Program, Alt, Hero, and Jib - great names!) with Final Cut’s Multiclip feature. I’m hoping to use this song to close our Portland CityFest report. I’ll post that when it’s done for you to see - there’s some exciting stuff there.

Back to editing!

I’m so jealous smile  Can’t wait to see it!!!

The concerts look SO awesome… but it’s not as cool as being there. Some of the audio isn’t mixed as well as it could be (the vocals are a little strong; I can’t hear the band as well), so to do it really right we’ll have to go back to the ProTools mix which I can’t do (yet).

I’ll slip ya something if I can. =)

I think the more camera’s the better.  You look at Directv’s NFL Super Fan they have 8-10 different games at once.  So, I think more is better. Younger generation thinks that way as well.  They have lived with 2 screen viewing and Tivo.  I think you are are on the right track.  Doing a great job.  I have added your blog to my list of favs. Keep up the great work you do with your blog.

Thanks for the encouraging words, Preacherman. I haven’t had the big chunks of time I’d like to really post frequently. Follow my Twitter and del.icio.us feeds to see what I’m into.
